Good afternoon,everyone.Today,my topic is we should give top priority to food safety.
In China,there is an old saying ,bread is the stuff of life ,the Chinese meaning is 民以食为天.Obviously it means food plays a decisive role in our daily life. Food safety is a matter of primary importance. The issue is closely related to our health，so we should give top priority to food safety.

Good afternoon,everyone.Today,my topic is we should give top priority to food safety.
In China,there is an old saying ,bread is the stuff of life ,the Chinese meaning is 民以食为天.Obviously it means food plays a decisive role in our daily life. Food safety is a matter of primary importance. The issue is closely related to our health，so we should give top priority to food safety.
As we know,food safety is a serious problem in China.For example,at the beginning of the year 2008,the low quality milk Sanlu company killed many babies .Therefor ,it's high time that we paid attention to this grave issue.
There are several reasons for this serious problem.First and foremost,some companies,for huge profit ,make fake commodities,or products of poor quality.In addition,the monitor role for laws and regulations has not been implemented in a strict way .Last but not least,the public especially customers from poor families are not alert enough to the safety of food.

Due to the fact that food safety is important in our life ,effective measures must be taken before things get worth .Firstly,it is imperative that relevant laws and regulations should be enforced in a stringent way.Secondly,the goverment should promote food safety knowledge to improve people's self-protection.
What is more, as a college student, we also should do what we can. First of all, we should learn some some common knowledge about food safety, and learn to recognize the unhealthy food by ourselves. second, the food price is stable, when you see an abnormal price, be carefull ! Last, everyone should have awareness of unhealthy food, and raise the sense of prevention.
Since the food safety situation is bad.It'sl necessary to give top priority to food safety .And I strongly believe that through the joint efforts of government and us students,we finally will eat the safe food.
